Sunset Palms

We are delighted to offer this limited edition print by Robby Müller, exclusively available to celebrate the release of his book L.A. Polaroids.

Beautifully printed as a giclée on heavy art card, each print is presented together with a first edition of the book, produced in collaboration with Annet Gelink Gallery, Amsterdam.

In the 1980s, cinematographer Robby Müller spent long periods away from home, working with directors including Alex Cox, William Friedkin, and Wim Wenders on films that would come to define the era, among them Paris, Texas.

When shooting wrapped for the day, he returned to the Kensington Motel in Santa Monica. With his SX 70 always close at hand, he made photographs in the pauses between work, drawn to overlooked details, resisting the obvious, always pulled back to light and colour as his true subject.
