When Trent Parke moved to Sydney from the outskirts of a small Australian town, his first impression was of the sheer volume of people. He would grab his camera and go out exploring, moving with the flow of people, producing magical photographic experiments with the harsh Australian light that would arc down into the crevices of the city, and bounce off tarmac and windows to light up even the darkest space, transforming the metropolis into a personal dreamscape.

"I started to slow things down and shoot on these slow shutter speeds and experiment with light, with film, with the darkroom," Parke recalls. This approach would define his vision: an intense focus on fleeting moments, the interplay of shadow and neon, and the poetry hidden in the ordinary.

Now, for the first time, Parke’s work is being presented as a limited edition duotone lithograph, capturing the textures, contrasts, and ethereal quality of his photography in an artisanal print. Each lithograph is produced in an edition of 100, signed by the artist.
