Paris Opera Bill Henson
Unavailable £70.00
Coming November:
In 1990 Bill Henson was commissioned by the Paris Opera to produce a new series of works that literalised the effect of listening to music, and found a formal expression for emotions generated by music.
Over the course of a year, Henson traveled to the three great Opera houses of Paris. On returning to his Melbourne studio, he recreated moments of beauty and tenderness witnessed during performances.
For the first time, all 50 images from the series are brought together as an outsized monograph.
